I have successfully upgrated my XPeria Go to Jelly Bean and I'm facing a big problem with phone calls :
After dialling and pressing "call", the phone is completely frozen ! It remains frozen from several seconds to about 1 minute !! During this time I have no information about the call setup progress. The call can be established, and the celled party can talk "alone" : I'm not able to know when the call is established and to hear him speaking !!! Then, my phone is no more usable !!!!
I don't know if anyone has already experienced this problem ...

it seems viber had the problem....i uninstalled viber and currently using kakao talk.....tha phone app works normally as it should be.......i am not sure about others...:smileyplain:

Same here too, I had uninstall viber and using kakao talk no problem, still i had whatapp and skype install but no issue uptill now..
I was having Phone Calls problems without Viber, I uninstalled System Tuner, must of been messing with something! all gone! Smooth Slippery Slide! ;D

I had submit a support ticket to viber support team. let see what they have to say regarding this issue.
Same for me, uninstalled viber for a day, no problems, I use WhatsApp and Line now. Seems ok so far.
I updated my phone a couple of weeks ago and everything was fine for a while, then the lagging came back. We can keep on guessing what the problem is here but that's all we're doing, guess work. We are Sonys guinea pigs, download update and report faults, maybe Sony sacked their quality department because the customer is doing it for them.
Will there be another update now or is this it, are we suppose to be happy with our lot now. If somebody can develop a root with no lag using whatever apps they like why can't Sony? Maybe Sony sacked their developers aswel because customers are developing thier own updates too.
I don't know what a kernel is, I don't know what a bootloader is, I don't know what a root is, nor should I, I bought a phone, a 'smart phone' , damn thing should be able to make and receive phone calls for a start, damn thing should be able to have apps on it for a finish.
I am coming to the conclusion I need to root my phone, which I am not confident in my ability to do, so I need to know from Sony a definitive response to this issue other than standard customer service crap of reload update again, factory reset, delete all apps blah blah blah.
Yet again Sony I am asking for acknowledgement of the issue and a solid, reliable, permanent fix, and some kind of time line for when we can expect it.
All of our phones have the ability to 'take bug report' so what I dont understand is why have developers not asked us to activate the 'take bug report' in the developer options. I mean they have all of our IMEIs, since we are registered on the forum if thats any help and they also know that the problem occurs during phone calls. Surely they could piece together whats goong on from the information in the bug reports.
FYI: Phome repaired for second time by sony registered repair centre for second time this week. Viber not installed and still problems with incoming calls and now restarts.

i just updated my phone to 6.2.A.1.100 yesterday frm ics,overall phone performance is much better but the caller is all trouble
the green slide hangson receiving, on outgoing the dialler freezes
i noticed the signal bar went completly blank and the sim icon accompnied by a red cross
Phone has become S**T after updates.
Everyone should just return their phones when the see this issue. The warranty is 2yrs so they have to replace it. Ithink they should really recall it and not replace it. Im glomg to contact traiding standards over this. Since sony started updating this phone its become useless.
