Xperia J charging problem

My battery does't charge, after connection to charger a 'flashlight' appears on battery icon and that's all what's happen, my battery is still running off and I can't charge it.

Are you using a wall charger or trying to charge with a USB cable plugged in to a PC?

I also experience this problem...Only I have Xperia Miro...

Let me explain

First when I bought Miro it charged normally...but after 2 weeks it wouldn't react to charger (wall) not even flash light or message "connected" and didn't wan't to connect to PC....

Then after 2 days it charged normally :smileygrin:

Then after week phone recognized wall charger and message charging was there but battery went down instead of up like I am normally using it...

Then again charged normally

Today I am experiencing the same problem ... battery went down...and when I left phone charging for an hour (or more) it was 80 percent (from 13)....so I was surprised...

What is the problem: Maybe some contact...maybe problem is when I charge phone I usually charge it example from 34 to 67 percent, adn not from 0 to 100...Should I take phone to service..please help...

I too had problems with charger when i mounted it on my friends home. the battery started charging but suddenly the apps that are installed started all of sudden. when i removed the charger, it became normal..when i connected it again, the apps started again and the touch lost its control.

Its charging fine @ my home and i hope the electricity flow in my friends home is abnormal. but his samsung phone charges well in that socket.

hey i am facing the same problem, actual problem is whenever I charge through charger , usually it chages my phone to max 25% after that it doesnt charge, and presently it doesnt charge a bit, though it charges through USB from laptop or desktop.
I have already used same chareger for charging other mobiles, it works well.

I too am having charging problems,

When I look at battery tab with charger connected to the mains its says it's not charging.

When I removed the lead from the phone it says discharging.

When I plug it back in it briefly lights the charge light and says it's charging then goes back to saying not charging!

However, the charge total has increased, and charge light is illuminated when the phone has been switched off!!

Is any one from Technical actually looking at these posts, or is this just a place to vent frustration and then get even more frustrated with the lack of feed back/tech support????

I am experiencing similar problem with my Xperia J when plug in  it is showing the charging icon and as well as the charging light is on but it won't charge any further than 40%. Sony is known for its brand reputation but is not really living up to it, phone doesn't perform well have to take my xperia within one month of purchase on sony centre for repair and has caused a lot amount of trouble.

I've got a problem my phone is overheating and its now off but it won't turn on when I charge it it doesn't even show any light it just heats up even more can anyone help me ?
