Xperia's T/TL Home launcher doesn't rotate (Jelly Bean)
Is it a bug or is it something permanent?
on ICS the issue was SmartConnect, by uninstalling the updates the home launcher was able to rotate but SmartConnect it's part of Jelly Bean, is this the issue?
The intention is that the launcher should only rotate to landscape when the phone is docked (requires a model that can be docked like Xperia Z). There was a problem in an earlier version of SmartConnect which made it rotate when not docked so it's actually working as it should now.
I've noticed a lag with the Xperias while using the dock and/or apps on landscape then switching to the home screen if it's not connected to a dock then it will rotate to portrait this creates lag, it will enhance the user experience if the landscape mode was available w/o the dock
