Hi, I have problem with my xperia sp. Games lags a lot. Banji bananas, ski safari and others. Some games work good. Browser is smooth too. But games like benji bananas shouldn't lag!!! My sister has xperia E and it runs good on her phone.

Screen stutter/jump. It's strange. I tried factory reset and software repair in pc companion, but it didn't help.

Is it software or hardware(damaged/broken) problem? Bad optimization for adreno 320?(but not demanding apps should run perfectly)

I agree that it should run smoother on the Xperia SP but that's for the game developer to fix

I explain you my problem again. Games runs good but every one 1-2s the screen spurt/jump. I can't explain it. I noticed it in browser too when i scroll slowly.

I'm a game developer, and I recently bought an Xperia SP.

I resolved the problem of inconsistant framerates by compiling my games for ARMv7 but I saw some inconsistant framerates anyway, also the device is getting hot very quickly..weird !

Anyway, the soundcard driver has also a min buffer very high compared to other devices, that's not a good news for sounds : latency ! Sony should decrease it by 2...

I suggest you to....wait for an update from Sony (haha joke) or install a custom ROM from xda dev.

I dezziped Benji Bananas apk and it was not compiled for ARMv7 but just for ARM (and x86...who cares?).

The problem is this XPeria SP does not handle correctly ARM codes.

I don't want to spend time with this phone, for me there is a poor design somewhere, developers are not supposed to handle this kind of stuff : Sony has to deal with and correct it.

I know this is not the best place to post a message to Sony support, but I lost so much time with support on other systems that I prefer just to not recommand the Xperia SP for gamers.

Sony published a new ROM today on Sony Companion, you should try it, it probably resolves lags

it can play hd games smoothly like RR3, Dead Trigger, Contract killer, Commando D-day etc... I think ur phone have some problem...

(They are probably compiled for ARMv7 : you are out of the subject)

i c... i think i write an example of games that can play smoothly with xperia sp, the benji banana is not as extreme as the examples i post so why it lags on his phone... i think theres a problem on his phone... or on how he root it... i play benji banana smoothly on my phone not rooted its stock android os.. thats my insight...
