Is Sudden Death Issue of Xperia Z C6603 solved in this update ? Is it a Global Release ???

I have completed this update and haven't noticed any real change but keep in mind that I wasn't experiencing any of the issues mentioned on this forum with my XZ

I went out tonite with 73% charge and have taken a few photo's and made a few calls/texts over about 4hrs and my battery is showing 67% so that is quite good but could be just the fact that it's new and getting better after each recharge cycle - I'm quite pleased with that result

Can you post a screenshot of the battery consumption of your phone when it's about 5-10%. Have you expereinced Sudden death issue yet ?

Xperia ZL got a new skin of the keyboard in this update...have you got any ?

The update improves the stability and performance of the phone. Please let us know if you still have any problems after this update.

Note that the update may not be available for all market/operators yet.

The only downer I have noticed after updating is when the battery hits 29% it, as usual, will turn off the back light and Wi-Fi, i used to be able to go to settings and turn them straight back on without issue, do that nowe and the phone re boots itself, very annoying if you are in the middle of something. Happened everytime since,

After updated to 434 my dial tone disappear and camera focus (the square thingy) does not turn into green to lock the focus, it do nothing when i touch the screen, no focus sound also

Hello,

After update (C6603) I still notice "estimated standby time" bug. Sometymes (phone full charged) shown time is ~ 1 day, sometimes ~2 days (stamina mode is on, and no changes).

Notification LED working only if stamina mode is off.

As GeoffH has already explained in many threads about the stamina mode, it claculates the standby time based on your usage for example if you game a lot listen songs and then check sttandby time it will be less and when you dont use your phone heavily it dispalys increased standby time

It has alrady been pointed out many times that in the current iteration of stamina mode notification led wouldn't work sony has addressed thi and hopefully will see a fix for it in the next update
