Is that true?
http://www.xperiablog.net/2013/03/29/phonearena-says-5-inch-cyber-shot-and-walkman-xperia-phones-com...
I would really like the 5 inch Xperia with Cyber-shot and Walkman but in one device! not two separate, it would be the bvest Xperia ever!
Sony please also consider glass material as in Xperia Z. Since I own Z I cannot imagine plastik-fantastik shamesung style anymore!
Only premium materials / premium devices
Just deliver both Cyber-shot and walkman in 5 inch glass device and Xperia Z design and you've got my money, again!
After Xperia Z, 5 inch fully glass device is just optimum for me, no bigger, no smaller, and premium materials with superfast processor
Area of improvements is:
1. Camera, images too noisy and overcompressed.
2. Music volume, too low on original headphones, I am using MW600 bluetooth handset and the music quality is much better / much lauder.
3. Screen - contrast ratio and blacks.
4. Battery life.
ya, agree with those points.
1-less compression of image(we dont mind the big size of the pic, else why we bought sd cards 囧), even HTC release 2nd update for improving the camera .
2-music, ya, even XDA developers can come out with mod that improve the sound louder and clearer, its appear to be poor software/firmware implement by the software engineer in Sony.
The walkman apps doesn't have refresh button to refresh the media when we transfer new music into the phone. And my walkman apps play song, it appear to bit slightly lag (0.5sec of music pause) for many times in a song, and goes on, I have to use 3rd party music apps to play song smoothly.
3-screen, at least give us the WB software to adjust the color like the one in Xperia ZL and SP.
4- battery life - which sony can implement extra feature like "power saving mode" which limit the processing core to lower frequency (1 or 1.2ghz) which surely improve battery life. Like what Samsung did on Note 2( as I bought one for my sister and I found out it's really a big plus for extending battery life by lowering the processing power).
Althought rooting phone can limit the processing core power, but apparently not all of us want to risk/or good at, root(rooting) our phone to do that.
Sony, please make improvement. >< we do love you ~
just dont make us dissapoint and regret.
1 - agree
2 - nothing wrong with the walkman or music quality
3 - coming
4 - quadcore hi-end graphics - live with it - what's the point of getting a hi-end device then clocking it back to a low end device ???? I don't use Stamina and my "Phone" lasts a full day of average usage (that is all I need and require) - Photos - music - calls - sms - internet, if I want to play games or use GPS I know I need it plugged into charger - nothing unusual about that
2 - the walkman apps doens't read new mp3 song that transfer in, in which other 3rd party apps at least have "refresh media files" to trigger the media scanning for new media file.
There is a original post there : http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/126927?tstart=0
And I did face some (0.5sec pauses) for several times in a song, and it happen on every each of the song, while facing no problem while I play song in 3rd party apss (TTPOD). perharps just mine got bug as not many facing this problem..
4- yes, high end device like XZ(with quadcore 1.5ghz) is nice and lag-free for using the phone, gaming etc. However it is not a need to fully on it to 1.5ghz when even doing normal swiping the menu launcher.
I'm just suggesting Sony to include something competitors did (power saving mode) which really useful when coming to limit processing power (perharps to 1.2 or 1.0ghz) and extend on-screen time when come to low battery status.
Like what i did to my old SGW (rooted) and set the gonvernment setting in setCPU.
Of course I could just root the XZ and done all those, however I'm just suggesting it for better of all.
First of all make it possible to record calls as none of the stock androids CAN do it from the line ;(( But all my old symbian nokia mobiles do it easilly :smileywink:so it's a shame such expensive phones cannot do that...
