xperia z update patch has ruined my phone

I updated yesterday and it's glitchy as heck Trash can stays on screen, screen rotates intermittently and I have lost all capability to tether. This is my home network as well so I'm stuffed for pc Internet and my ps3.

Yes my phone is also chewing battery. I have had the update for 3/4 days.

You service provider should be able to help you if you have no internet access.
