10 annoying issues with the Sony Xperia Z2, and how to fix them
http://www.digitaltrends.com/mobile/xperia-z2-problems/
I found this article by @digitaltrends on Twitter as I'm researching the Sony Xperia Z2. I hope these issues have been address, especially WiFi dropping. I'm interested in the Z2 because of the Noise Canceling feature, now I will have to do more research to find out which phone is more stable (even though it's a software thing).
Can anyone with xperince with Z1, Z2, Z3 which they feel is the most stable for daily usage and heavy videoing projects? Realiability being the key?
I have the Z1 and have no issues at all - I find that article a load of tosh, How can something be an issue if the owner hasn't read the manual and as an example turned on Tap to wake or are using a 3rd party charger and wonder why charging takes a long time - These are not issues with the phone merely issues with the owner
True True, I have the Xperia Z Ultra and haven't had any problems really. There was one with gittery address book search, but I think it's resolved after the last update. Hooray, I guess I'm over thinking it, Sony make great phones. Thanks for the feed back.
i had a z1 for about a year, good all round phone but i damaged the screen, decided to go for a z2 next but had very poor signal, much lower than the z1 and it kept droping out completley, had my replacement z2 2 days ago and does not seem any better!
im going to see if i can get a deal on a z3 or ill get a htc or samsung!
I have just tried a couple of things in that list.
My screen wouldnt come back on after a call and i did have 'tap to wake' active so have turned that off. Tap to wake was pants anyway as it rarely worked. Also have the crashing facebook videos so have tried that fix will see what happens.
I also get the slow charging issue about 1 in 20 times of charging using the same combination of charger / leads as i always do.
@rodgemx125 Regarding signal for the Z2, have you tired playing around with your APN settings? Or have the same settings as your Z1?
If they are exactly the same, then I guess it's the phone itself; antenna and casing.
