Xperia Z2 tablet 4.4.4 update

I've just updated my Xperia Z2 Tablet to 4.4.4 this morning. And do I need to reset the tablet, erase data, or reset factory?

It is available via PC Companion at least.

Update is announced on the device through OTA channel but to install it you need to use PC Companion or Bridge for Mac.

You don't need to remote all data from the device, you also can update encrypted device without any problems. But as with any upgrade backup of all personal and valuable data is recommended.

Is it somehow possible to get this update without a Windows or Apple PC? I don't have neither of them, just one running on Linux.

Can't see it yet.  I am in the UK.  Anyone else in the UK got it?

Uplate is available in France. No more 1080p on apps ( YouTube / nfl pass). 

Same for Z2 and Z2 tablet.

What do you mean by no more 1080p?
