Hi, I find that the Xperia Z3 charges slowly after 6.0 update. It even shows on the lock screen that it is charging slowly. I'm connecting to laptop & USB in car, both showing the same. It used to charge faster especially via laptop USB3 port. Estimate a full charge will need 4 hours. Is this a software issue?

There's nothing wrong with your phone, charging your device with a car or computer will take a lot of hours

A USB output is about 500 mA. I suggest you try an original sony adapter and charge directly from a wall plug.

Check if U connect to normal usb 3.0 port which is about 500mA or usb 3.0 that support battery charging 1.5A, i've test it and normal usb3.0 will give about 470mA and usb3.0 with battery charging is giving 1.1A, but as alexdon said better use original sony adapter that came with phone.

Same problem having with me As im using 2.0v output charger. Lollipop used to get charged soon comparing to MM. Kindly fix this problem. Thx

i think the point was that it didn't take such a long time before.

i'm having the same issue. i used to be able to charge pretty quickly via laptop usb or even car charger. and i always use the actual sony cable, so no hardware changes here.

is this related to the update? if so, any fix? or rollback?
