xperia Z3 extremly slow charging, help.

Hello, 

I have recently purchased my xperia Z3 new from ebay, US version. I have noticed that the charging speed it terribly slow. For example I charged it, with official wall charger overnight about 10hrs starting at about 20%, and by the time I woke up 10 hrs later, it was only at 80%. Whats the deal? I'm currently contacting the seller and will also contact sony. Though, my question is, are there some good 3rd party chargers I could purchase?

Note, after noticing the extremely slow charging speed from the offical z3 wall charger I plugged my z3 into my Oneplus One wall charger and it charged normally, actually very quickly. Help please. thanks!

Perhaps the charger or the cable are defective, could you test a different cable with the charger?

Are you charging the phone through a computer or a wall charger? if the later, test a different wall socket.

Havent tried another cable with official wall charger yet. Ill try that next thanks.

Im charging in on in a wall socket not a computer. Ive tried 2 sockets so far.

You may also want to try powering the handset off and check if the charge is working faster then when it is turned on.
