z3v cracked after less than 30 days

This is just a documentation of my 29 day old z3v cracking while sitting on a sony wireless charger overnight.  I'll be posting pictures before i wrap it up and send it to sony of each corner of the phone (like brand new) and the front (like brand new) and the back with one random crack on it.  Verizon refuses to man up and replace it and Sony wants to inspect before fixing under warranty.  I guess we'll see.

It would seem to be a ton of people have this problem the sony Z line of products, so why can't Sony recognize it?? I bought a waterproof phone for a reason and if it cracks randomly how can i trust it under water?

The other kicker is i have to live without my phone, that i use for work, for 3 + weeks?  Really Sony?  I want you to do that to your executives and see if it flys. Props to Verizon for providing a replacement phone but if i dont get this one back within 90 days i eat the cost of a brand new phone.  Its no wonder you haven't entered this market until recently, you have NO IDEA WHAT PEOPLE WANT OR NEED from a customer service standpoint when it comes to mobile devices.

Great phone, poor glass choice and poor support, at least so far.

There are a couple of instances were a phone has cracked the back due to excessive heat, were the phone has not shutdown due to faulty heat cut off sensor. But phones in pockets would not generate this type of heat.So you can rule that one out as the phones in question were using 4K video recording

When I read the features of Xperia Z3v, the one where it is made of glass. I immediately bought shields for the front and back protection. Now recently my daughter just gave me a wireless charger. After your post, I'm afraid to use it. My battery already gets hot when it charges electronically. I have done so good for 14 months after so many drops to not have any scratches or cracks, it would be horrible for more phone to crack just because I charged it wireless.
