connecting multiple bluetooth speakers (for stereo configuration)

I would like to connect two (similar) bluetooth speakers simultaneously to my Sony Xperia XZ3 and use them in a stereo configuration.

Through the forum I understand that this is possible setting the XZ3 in developer mode. In this mode it is possible to increase the number of connected bluetooth devices, as well as to alter the version. But, then, how do you connect these two bluetooth devices simultaneously? I can connect one and, if I try connecting the second, it disconnects from the first one (and continues to play music from that).

Can I connect both and have one acting as a left-speaker and the other as a right-speaker?

Thanks!

To connect multiple bluetooth devices for any android Oreo and newer phone (I'm using a sony xperia xz3)

1. Go into developer mode (settings > system >  advanced > build no. (tap 7 times)

2. Once the developer options menu item displays, select it

3. Scroll down and select 'maximum connected bluetooth devices'

4. Select the no. of bluetooth devices (current is 5)

5. Start pairing your devices with your phone!
