How to make apps automatically add to home screen

Hi, contrary to what many others want, i prefer apps to be added to the home screen automatically when I download them. I cant seem to find the option to do this. I have a brand new xz2

1. On the Application screen, touch and hold an application icon until the device vibrates, and then drag the icon to the top of the screen. The Home screen opens.
2. Drag the icon to the desired location on the Home screen, then release it.

Thanks, your advice helps with manually adding apps to the home screen. What id like however is the ability to have apps add to the home screen automatically as soon as they are downloaded

I think this option has been removed from newer Xperia Home launcher versions, there used to be a toggle there to activate this exact option you want.

In the meantime, is there a launcher that does support this? And is it definitely the launcher?

As I've tried ActionLauncher on my phone and it doesnt automaticlly add apps to the screen, but it does this on my old Samsung.

I'd believe it's the launcher because the option was there in older versions. It's there in Nova Launcher desktop settings.
