Night Light option on XZ1

Why is the Night Light option missing from the Xperia XZ1? You'd think a phone using Android Oreo (8.0.0) would have the Night Light option available considering this option has been available in android for a while now. Will this be introduced soon?

yes, it should be available... and minumum brightness is just too high!

I've emailed support asking if this will be added and was told to use a play store alternative. However without root, apps cannot physically reduce the blue light from the display, only overlay an orange tint. I am seriously considering returning my xz1c because my eyes are burning at night. As mentioned, this feature is in AOSP so please Sony can we see it in the next update?

third party app can dim (overlay) only a part of the screen... Satus bar, notification menu and navigation bar remain bright, very bright!!!

This needs to be implimented for me to buy an Xperia flagship in the future, because the omission literally makes no sense.

I think I raised about this earlier but nothing happened.
I think this feature needs to be enabled.
