phone dialer crashes in 4k

when switching xz premieum to full time 4k with wm size 2160x3840, the phone dialer crashes when you make or recieve a phone call ( when set to a lower resolution like 1890x3360 it does not crash) can you please fix this bug sony ? ( just to let you know, some users bought your phone only for the 4k screen ! )

Hi @amanieux, welcome to the community.

The phone does not run the menus natively in 4K. It uses its 4K display when you’re viewing either the 4K content you’ve captured using your device or third-party 4K content from streaming services – all other content (including the homescreen and apps) are displayed in 1080p Full HD or lower resolution to simply optimise performance, power consumption and battery.

Is this only happening when you are using a 4K supported app? Or have you unlocked the device using third party methods to use 4K by default?

@amanieuxit's a bug caused by the adb trick used to change the screen resolution, and I'm sure it was mentioned in the tutorial you followed. as @CameronT mentioned, the phone doesn't render everything in 4k natively. you used an unofficial tweak, so it's out of Sony scope to deal with any bugs resulting from that.
