SCTG50 Cover: how much you can see?

I have bought a SCTG50 Cover for the XZ1 (this one) but I've noticed that through this cover the screen is very blurry and opaque.

Is this how it is supposed to be? From photos and videos I thought it will be pretty clear the view of the screen.

I don't have this case but just to make sure: does it come with any protective plastic film out of the box?

No, there is no film over the cover
