Sony Xperia xz3 gesture

Sony Xperia xz3 gesture

I know it's been asked many times but is there an update on gesture mode? It's the only thing stopping me buying this phone. I've been using it on my Huawei mate 10 pro for a while now and couldn't possibly go back to normal navigation 😬

Hi @Hip5hooter, let me see if I can help out here.

Google's gesture navigation system is not available in Xperia devices which have been upgraded to Android 9.0 Pie, nor in Xperia XZ3 which was released on Android Pie. It is however available for 2019 models such as Xperia 10, Xperia 10 Plus and Xperia 1.

I hope that answered your question! Slightly_smiling_Face

Confirmed, sony didn't bother to update their launcher so NO gestures. Absolutely amazing stuff 10/10 will buy your phones again.

And they wonder why their mobile division is losing money.

Hello everybody. I got the latest android 10 update in my xperia xz3 phone today. It has some new features but the navigation hasnt changed. It is working the same as with the old update, which means that the swipe up is the same, just for accessing the home screen. In the android 10 update it was supposed to have this navigation feature that you can use it to access the home screen but also to swipe it in the left or right to exit an applicaion or page. In this update it is not included this feature. Could you let me know if  tjis feature will be included in the other updates or its not included for Sony phones? Thnx. Br.

No tuene gestos de navegacion,me parece una vergüenza por parte de Sony hacer eso de nuevo

It has no navigation gestures, it seems a shame on Sony's part to do that again
