What is Ambient display?

Ambient display is a feature that allows you to see information such as time and notifications without pressing the power key.

A smart feature which allows seeing notification without pressing the power button. You can activate via (Settings > Display > Advanced > Lock screen preferences > Ambient display).

It will activate when any movement happens. If you want to disable it either you disable via settings or you use a smartphone cover.

nothing on my Pixel 2 XL, 3 XL or 4 XL. my guess is this is meant for non-Pixel phones, since those that got it are all non-Pixel.
