My TV model is: kd-65x9005b
I have a brand new Xperia XZ Premium, and expected that i'd be able to mirror the screen to this TV. The mirroring app can see the TV, and it can also see my other devices, such as Roku 3 devices. I click on the Bravia TV and it attempts to connect. Then after a few minutes all I get is a message saying that it can't connect to the TV at this time.
Any ideas?
I have a similar issue with my XZ. I'm afraid it's a case of persevering from my experience. When I try to pair my TV to my Panasonic TV it can take multiple attempts till I'm able to connect both. Whilst when connecting my XZ to my Sony TV it works at the first attempt.
Hope this helps
What are the specific steps that you take to get it to mirror? I saw from some instructions that the TV needs be turned off when you're pairing. Is tht right?
Hello,
I have the same problem as you!
He shows me the phone at Bravia, but then nothing happens!
With my other phones it is no problem!
So I'm not the only one with this problem and the support could not help me until now.

Hi all
I also have the same problem but I do not see any suggestions on how to fix the problem.... Or am I missing something here. Please Help. Thank you
Hi,
You may try the following:
1. Follow the phone & TV manuals' guidelines to the letter.
2. If that does not work - Bravia has options to delete the registered Xperia in its menus. Go ahead and delete the phone entry.
3. Retry connecting afresh.
I have an old W700C 40" and an XZP G4182. I tried initially without success - then followed the steps 2 & 3 above - it worked and working now...
(of course - you should have a Wifi broadband working to which both TV and phone needs to be connected - else IP handshaking won't work - the TV will switch modes and temporarily disconnect from Wifi as part of the connecting process, but that's ok.)
Solved: From your Sony Bravia TV. Go to SETTINGS then choose PREFERENCES. Next, go to SETUP then select NETWORK. Change IPv4 to IPv6.. Since xperia xzp uses Internet Protocol version 6.. That's it!😜
Thanks - did it solve the problem for all the people here?
