Backup and Restore

Hi,

After using the on-device Backup, I want to restore just CERTAIN apps.  Will the restore function give me the ability to choose which apps I want to restore or will it restore EVERYTHING i backed up if I click on restore?

Regards,

B

Thanks for the information....

Well, backing up was quite POINTLESS then. Spent a week setting up my phone and now I have to do it all again because I might restore the **bleep** that forced the factory reset.

THANKS for NOTHING, SONY!!!!

it restores every thing you can only select before you back up not while you restore

Seriosly in which real life scenario would a full restore be useful? Only when the phone or its data is suddenly and completely lost?

Smartphones keep lots of different information which are updated independently. Restoring every information for only some information will cause data loss eventually after a full recovery.

Backup & Restore is practically useless if partial restore is not possible.

I should regularly connect my phone via a cable and start backup process manually, for what? For a useless backup?
