caller can't hear my voice xperia z2

The caller hears my voice as if I am speaking from distance, or very low volume.

Hi @Ajit6, welcome to the community.

Let's test your microphone. Under Settings > About phone, there should be an option called Diagnostics. Please go into Diagnostice > Test, and test the microphone. See if it records your voice poorly or it sounds fine.

I too have experienced the problem from new.  I have run the test, can only quietly hear my voice but, what from there?  There is no resolution to the problem when you enter 'failed'.

Dust or water could cause this problem.

thanx for the reply. All the diagnostics is good. But, the voice clarity the other phones give to the listener on the other side is much better than z2. Can't imagine why!
