can't re-unlock my bootloader plz advice.

My bootloader is re-locked. Now i want to unlock it again but it always gives an error stating "Failed (phone is already rooted)". I have tried with flashtool and cmd-fastboot method but the result is always the same. In service menu bootloader unlock allowed says yes. Is there any alternate way to unlock bootloader once again? I can't seem to find this error on Google so am really confused what to do.

When i unlocked my bootloader for the first time i have used that method and it worked fine, now i can not use that same method to unlock it again. I got my new key (because old key is lost) though but it doesn't work.

How did you get a new key without bricking your phone? The only way is if you replaced the motherboard. Do you have a custom ROM?

I have stock rom. Idk whether the key i received is new or the same which i received for the first time i dont remember.

Just wondering who gave you the key? was it at a Sony Xperia Care? you might want to post your question at the XDA Forum

The link you provided is a first step to get the unlock key. Its like this: select mobile> register email id> get verification link> enter imei no. get the unlock key. I think this is how i did this (may be missed a step to say here). When you get the unlock key there is also a step by step guide on how to use it to unlock bootloader, and i did exactly as it said but with same error mentioned above.

I have posted in xda as well, just waiting to someone's reply.

They will ask you how were the keys restored, if the motherboard was replaced, either or, you can contact them directly
