Can't select 20.7mp in superior auto mode

yesterday night after updating android M i'm not able to select 20.7mp in superior auto mode only options are 8Mp(16:9) and 8Mp(4:3). i'm stuck with 8Mp camera in 20.7mp phone. 20.7 mp works in manual mode but i can not do any settings. Please solve this issue android L is much better and do not you people do testing before releasing??

That was the same on Lollipop, Superior Auto works on 8mp

thanks but it was working yesterday i was able change settings to 20.7mp

That's odd, as Superior Auto use pixel binning, and reduces the pictures to 8MP, @alexdon could you test this on your Z2?

@uliwooly@vikram_shadow I will check but the Z2 didn't get MM yet. Are you sure it worked before? I thought only new devices have more than 8MP on superior auto.

As far as I know mm has arrived on some Z2 but I've never heard of a Z2 being able to select more than 8mp for auto mode, only Z5 using new sensor can.

@Viridis agree, camera 2.0 allows that along with the new sensor.

20.7mp is not available in superior auto mode in Z2. You need to switch to manual to use this resolution. It was the same on Android 5.1 so it's not something that has been removed in the Android 6.0 update.

I own a Sony Xperia Z2 model - D 6502. I recently upgraded my android OS to marshmallow. I found in camera settings is has settings upto 8Mp only and not 20.7Mp. Kindly tell me how can set my camera to capture images of 20.7Mp.
