cannot install Android Auto

Why is Android Auto marked as incompatible with my Z5? I have all the latest updates (android 6.0.1)

I cannot even install it.

@Michaelvf

Probably a regional issue, I was able to install it on my Z5 running 6.0.1

You are right... Tried to circumvent it with a vpn but no luck.

@Michaelvf

Perhaps you will have to sideload the app

Sideloading seemed to work. Good tip Slightly_smiling_Face

I'm able to install the app, but after getting through the intro spash screens, I getthe message that my phone is incompatible.

I'm in Japan and Android Auto has been made available to this market now, so I don't know hwy I get this mesage when running the app.

I installed it from other source as apk file.

(be sure you enable install from unknown sources in security)

It's working here (Netherlands, Xperia Z5 dual), but i need to check for update manually (in given link).
