so today i got the z3 and the phone had cracked out of nowher no drops or impact. now screen is no longer respondingt o my fingers is there any chance anyone can tell me what to do or know the exact price for a repair. thx xxxxxxxx

For me its quite hard to tell something about the displays and glass. My story started when i putted my phone on a table. After 10 minutes i pick it up and see a small glass Crack at the back on the left bottom corner. I started thinking "WHAT THE **bleep** IS GOING ON ITS THE WORLD'S WORST PHONE ". Yesterday i experienced a really sad thing, while walking on the stairs with my shoppings my z3 slipped out. It was bouncing through 6-7 steps and finally landed screen facing the floor. I was thinking "oh *beep* :(. And said to my self "ill leave it for some poor guys its probably already shatterd like from a hammer attak and its dead . But i decided to pick it up, and what i see? Scuffs around the frame no shatterd glass and fully operative. I have no idea what to think about this phone.
I had or still have a bad experience with the Z3 and the customer care in Germany.
First of all the phone dropped from ~25cm on the (soft) floor with the result of a broken screen & and touching area . I think that is badly constructed as also others have this problem.
But it gets worse:
After paying more than 200€ to customer care in advance, it is not possible to repair the phone within a couple of days. I am waiting for more than a month now. They just say, they have to wait for a spare part. How could this take to long?
Of course the CC doens't contact me to give me status or something - I had to write them mails to get an answer.
That is not what I expect of a highend phone/company...I can't really recommend Sony
