Developer Tools missing in update 10.3.1.A.0.244

Hello folks .

I used to have an option called "Developer Tools" under System submenu in the settings . This is very normal for an android enabled cellphone .

However very strange is the fact that when I installed the above mentioned update , the Developer tools option has gone .

I used my cellphone for development most of the time , and this issue is a real blood sucker.

Please help .

settings > about phone > scroll to the bottom > tap many times at build number and you should be able to see it

However I am still in the blue , as to why would Sony chose to conceal this option into some fun treasure hunt sport .

Thank you for the prompt response.  I need to ask another stupid question (My alias give me licence to :smileyexclaim:).  I have the Xperia Z1 and following the steps you listed, I have the only option "Reet app preferences".  Is this the one?

Decided I'd give it a try as most of the data on my phone was either synced or backed up.   All the previous uninstalled applications have been restored and I still have tte developer options menu visible.

What else did you get there?

Look here ,it says clear data,but for a different phone.
