I unlocked bootloader of my C6506. Wanted to plug into Emma to check for updates. Emma recognizes my device in the cennter column but it is grayed out. However, in the Services box, an error is displayed that there are no services for my device.
Is Emma only tagged for the C6503 and not the C6506? The SEUS and Sony PC Companion recognize it.
Solved! Go to Solution.
I'm sorry to say that C6506 is not on the supported list: http://developer.sonymobile.com/services/flash-tool/supported_phones/
Normally only the international model is supported.

Oh, you are right! I just ASSUMED that all ZL variats would work and that the flash key was for all.
That said, you really should support all phone variants. The 6506 is sold in US and if you cannot unlock the bootloader and upgrade ROM then what purpose is it? Sure, you can use FlashTool to unlock and relock, but what a pain!
One interesting point is that while my phone was unlocked, and Emma rejected it, PC Companion did not reject. It appears that PCC might work on an unlocked bootloader.
Please update your software to support 6506 AND update github to serve 6506 code base. I feel like I'm on an island here!
