Fast Charging not working

Hi, my Xperia Z2takes almost 1.5 hours to charge up to 60% i am using the same charger came in the box with my Z2 please help how i can fast charge my phone

It should take over 2 hours to fully charge your device. But slow charging might be related to other things,like using the device while it is charging.

Your device doesn't support it most probably,unless you have the japanese variant.

My z2 also does not charge fast..It also take 3 hours to full charge

That's normal, the Z2 doesn't support this.

To be able to utilise the Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 technology, phone as well as the charger need to support Quick Charge 2.0.

Currently, there are no original Sony chargers that support the Quick Charge 2.0 technology. This means that, at present, you cannot charge Xperia devices using original Sony chargers utilising Quick Charge 2.0.

However, some Xperia devices and magnetic charging docks are prepared for and support the Quick Charge 2.0 technology. Again, as there is currently no original Sony charger that supports Quick charge 2.0, these devices cannot utilise Quick Charge 2.0 using an original Sony charger.

The following Xperia devices support Quick Charge 2.0:

Xperia Z3 Compact
Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact
Xperia Z2 Tablet
Xperia Z3 (only Japanese variants SO-01G, SOL26 and 401SO)
Xperia Z2 (only Japanese variant SO-03F)

The following magnetic charging dock supports Quick Charge 2.0:

Magnetic Charging Dock DK48 (for Xperia Z3 [Japan] and Xperia Z3 Compact)
