I kindly ask you to respond how to delete smart cover app from XperiaZ3? It is a real problem - first of all it is even can't be found within installed apps... Do you have any solution? Thank you very much in advance.

Hi Brezza,

Unfortunately you seem to be trying to delete the Style Cover inbuilt application. This cannot be removed, only the downloadable Style cover apps can be removed.

If you have downloaded Style Cover apps from the Play Store, you would delete them from the following section.

Menu > Settings > Apps > Downloaded > Style Cover - Black etc > Uninstall

May be that is problem... Actually I want to delete those apps, that change display, make it fit for the cover window, etc.

I think it was downloaded with touching with phone cover. Could you tell me please, what app is this? Thans a lot.

That would be located within the following section.

As I wrote above it is impossible to delete Style cover. May be there are other apps concerning smart cover, deleting of those will help me?

Hi Brezza,

I don't believe you understand the information I am supplying. There is a default Style Cover app on the phone, this cannot be removed from the handset. There are also Style Cover apps that you download from the Play Store, these apps can be removed.

The Default Style Cover App is not located within the Downloaded section of the device, it is located within the All Section.

To make it easier for you, do the following.

Menu > Play Store > Tap menu button > Go to My Apps > Look through the Apps and Fine Style Cover > Press Uninstall.

If Style cover is no longer within this section, then you do not have any other software other then the default App built in to the handset.

Can you please send a Screenshot of the issue you believe you have?

Ok, thank you. I understand that you told me. I see that one is built in. But I can't find another. All style covers (with theme) are uninstalled, but app is still working.

Actually I talk about those apps, that change display, make it fit for the cover window, etc. Initially there weren't they.

I think it was downloaded with touching with phone cover, as far as befor touching this app can't be installed. (Even with downloading from Play Store Style cover apps)

Could you tell me please, what app is this (that is downloading by touching)?

This does seem strange, as the Style Cover Window will not appear unless you are using a Style Cover Case and are connected to NFC.

Can you please send a Screenshot of the Screen when you see the Style Cover window?

The covet moduls are ruining my smallapps, and it is impossible to uninstall. Also, it keeps switching to the smartscreen eventhough my NFC is off. Why?

Actually I have the same question.

I know a temporary fix; remove the cover and restart your phone. The problem will start again when the smart screen activates though. Need to get fixed by sony..
