Lock button opens snapchat or camera

Any time I go to lock my phone, the lock button opens the snapchat app then will let me lock it. When unlocking it opens the camera app. Starting to get pretty annoying. Any ideas as to how I can get it back to normal?

I understand that this must be very frustrating.

If you go to Settings > Display, do you have the option "Jump to camera" enabled here? If you do, the camera will open up if you press the power button twice, so turn this option off and see if you experience the same behaviour.
