My phone has locked after the update

After updating on Saturday my phone has locked. I cant even use PC companion to repair it as its not recognising that its connected to my PC.. I am so frustrated and annoyed!

I phoned the support at Sony and was told it needed to be repaired. I wasnt given an explaination as to why? The man took my email address and said he would email me instructions on how to do this. Their emails must be so slow as I still havent recieved it. I have no phone to use!

Hi @Link2706,

I'm sorry to hear that. If you haven't received the email with the instructions for how to have your device sent in to an authorized service center I recommend that you get in contact with your Local support and ask them to resend the email to. 

It sounds like your device is locked by My Xperia Theft Protection. To unlock your device you need to enter the logging information for the Google account first added to your Z3+. If that doesn't work, a authorized service center can unlock the device for you.
