Overheating issues + Disappointing customer services

Hello everyone.

First post here. I have a Z5 which does not allow me to record video for longer then 10 minutes. This is normal HD recording, whereas 4K is completly useless.

Question for everyone: How long do your devices last while recording? And is it uncomfortably hot when it shuts down.

The phone has gone to repair 4 times and is now booked in for repair for the 5th. During the last repair, the mainboard has been replaced, which made the recording times even worse.

While on the phone with one of the "managers", been told that this is normal operation for the phone and if it overheats that I shouldn't worry. Adviced to lower my resolution. (£500 phone where using the camera is useless) Told that I am running too many apps in the background. (Tested the phone as soon it came back from repair with factory reset)

Quite honestly, this has got to be worst repair service I have come across. Unable to fix the device and then blame it on the user. Keep the user in a repair cycle for months on end. Absolutly ridiculous. To top it off, been lied to several times about the managers trying to get in contact with me.

Not really sure what to do about this, I guess I have to see if the 5th repair attempt does anything.

@MMalik

There are other posts on the same topic, there's nothing wrong with your phone.

So.. the solution to this is just to bend over and accept sony selling us a device? I would understand if this was a budget phone... but considering it is entirely not the case.. pretty  ridiculous
