Phone rising heag while charging

My phone xperia z3 is gutting warmer while is charging, even if i don't use it, what could it be?

Charging lithium based batteries causes heat,

As @Viridis wrote, charging the device will cause the device to get a bit warmer, this is completely normal and nothing to worry about.
