Quick charge really work?

I'm using the uch 10 and the aukey Cable to charge my xperia z5 dual . I also have download the app called ampere , but the maximum current I measured is 1530ma only , does it normal?

Quick charging works but only up to 90%.

In 80-85 minutes,i can get my phone 90% charged.

This is exactly what I commented yesterday on a different thread.

I bought an OEM Samsung Adaptative Fast Charger and when I measure the current with Ampere it reaches up to 2000 mA but as soon as the phone gets hotter (more than 40°C) it goes all the way down.

I don't want to buy another charger since I only use this new one as an emergency charger at work.

it depends on what charger was bundled with your phone...

not all bundles are the same... (it is more noticable when headphones or earphones are included or not and when they are their model number compared)...  but chargers are often seen as the same..   they are not...  there are premium ones that boast quickcharge....   and to make things a bit more confusing quickcharge is evolving and so there are different classes of quickcharge.    the z5 came out when quickcharge 2.0 was new...   brand new flagships are sporting 3.0
