Recovery Mode

Hi, been trying to enter the Recovery Mode screen....all instructions i've read say that once i switch mobile on as soon as the LED light comes on i press the volume key up or down several times BUT the LED light does not come on when the Z2 is turned on....it never has.

I do have the LED selected as ON in my settings for all my incoming emails/calls/texts etc

Any ideas?????

There isn't a recovery mode unless you root and install one which is probably what you have been reading
