After updated my Z5, phone doesn't ring. This issue happens randomly. After rebooting phone everything becomes normal but after sometime issue happens again. Tried recovering phone software via pc software update tool but it doesn't help. Build Number: 32.3.A.0376

It seems this is a general problem for xperia phones. Here XZ users are also complaining about this issue. I hope Sony will resolve this bug as soos as possible. It is annoying, sometimes I miss calls and this is event worse when the alarm doesn't ring in the morning.

I do not use custom ring tone. I selec ring tone through settings > sound > phone ring tone.

And I am using "Breeze" as the ring tone. When this issue happens I can not play ring tone in the phone ring tone menu, too.

I'm using 32.3.A.0.376 and I'm having a sound problem. The alarm is not ringing.

If the sound problem is only in the Alarm app, try refreshing it:

- Go to Settings -> Apps -> Alarm -> Force stop, then go to Storage -> Clear data and restart your phone.

When i upgrade to android 7, i lost
All ringtones and alerts, and messaging
In this case،Mute phone and just vibrating rings...
Please help me..

I'm really sorry to hear about these issues, let's see what we can do to help.

First I ask that you boot into Safe Mode and let me know if the audio is still having problems. it is possible that the 7.0 update did not install correctly, so it is possible that you may need to reinstall it to resolve the problems you are current having.

I have tried the safe mode...Nothing changes I have no ringtone and no alarm sound. This is terrible , I miss calls and I dont need to describe the horrible consequences when the alarm is not sounding at all.... I ve read many webpages about this and I see it is a commun problem after the last update. How is it gonna be solved I dont know still but I hope the solution comes fast....
