Xperia Z's Message Not Downloaded

Hello guys,

I am in need of some help with my Z1. I am unable to receive group messages and cannot send nor recieve picture messages. 

I have tried downloading internet settings and also mannually entering "APN settings" listed below with no luck. Please help!

Name:T-Mobile

Apn:fast.t-mobile.com

Proxy:216.155.165.050

Port:8080 skip the next three then,

MMSC:http//:mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc

MMS port:8080

MCC:310

MNC:260

APN type: default,supl,admin,dun,mms

APN protocol:IPv4

APN roaming protocol:IPv4

Save that as the first apn then create a New APN

Name: T-Mobile GPRS

APN:epc.tmobile.com skip the rest untill

MCC:310

MNC:260

APN protocol:IPv4

APN roaming protocol:IPv4

save these settings and ensure to have selecedt the first Apn on the Apn list (which should be fast.t-Mobile.com)

Turn the phone off for about 5min and then back on and you will be good to go. The very first MMS will take more than usual.

Simple questions 

1. Do you have a data plan?

2. How old is your SIM card? 

3. Try settings > more > internet settings

1. yes i have a data plan

2. i believe 2+ years? (this could be the culprit?)

3. tried it, doesnt work

I used this same sim in my s4 about a month ago and it was able to receive group messages with no issues.

I've seen that on myriad occasions that either

1. The SIM card its too old

or

2. An antivirus or taskiller its acting up

hmm, it would have to be the sim card then because the phone has been doing this since day 1 before i even downloaded any apps.

the sim is about 2 years old but i've only activated and started using it a few months ago. QQ

Its always wise to re-install the latest update, it will smooth things out

i was toying with the network operators and i switched it to t-mobile 3g instead of the LTE and i was able to send/receive pictures along with receive group texts... but it automatically switched back to LTE logo up top and doesnt work anymore

Is your LTE connection stable?

Go to the APN settings and make sure that under "bearer" its unspecified and not LTE
