When someone sends me a message it says " message not downloaded " and says can't send.when.I try...

im having trouble sending and recieving picutres.. because sony phones done automatically resize photos i had to download an app just to send photo messages whitch i think is so silly like why wouldnt they have sucha common feature.. any ways.. when recieving picture messages i get them but the message says " message not downloaded " so it wont show.. then like a day or two later it will randomly show up.. help plz!

Is your data on? not wifi but data?
Do you have the correct APN settings?

data and wifi on.

apn.. im not sure.. when i first got the phone i wasnt recieving them at all then had to do something with that.. but ya.. now im not sure what it is

You can't have both, is either wifi on or data, then only time that you will have wifi on and the data is turn on is when you send or receive an MMS (picture, music, video, long message)

well I would just like to thank you guys for putting this online like this because I have a Sony Xperia t2 Ultra and it would not send or receive pictures or voice text and because of what I read here even though this is my first smartphone I was able to call my carrier over the phone and program the APN a new word that I just learned and get it fixed now I can voice text and send pictures to my sister back and forth and all my friends so thank you very much your old messages still doing people good fix it will
