Xperia z1 screen broken

My Xperia z1 screen cracked while in my pocket..Will this be covered under the warranty? Also how do I remove the pattern lock to back up my data and stuff on the PC as i have no touch feedback in that area.

Also if not covered under the warranty how much will it cost to replace the screen? just a ball park figure would do.

Really sad about your phone , even few minutes back my xperia z1' 's scree got damaged. I am very upset because for last 3 years I am using this phone. It's display screen is incredibly strong. Don't know what happened to it today. But definitely I would like to buy an another xperia mobile.

Actually there is a hack. For this u need a OTG and a mouse with USB connector . Connect both to the phone and open the lock..enjoy!!!
