Xperia ZL internal speaker issue

Hi,
I have xperia ZL which i am using since last one month and i have observed that some times internal speaker sound goes very low. Of course i have kept all the sound enhancement options enabled within Call settings and Sound but still no improvements. Please suggest if there is any other fix available or its fixed in newly released firmware Android OS 4.3.

I had the same issue with my ZL C6503.

Thinking_Face   The solution I found was that I had to turn off certain so-called enhancements:

Settings/Sound/ try turning off Clear Phase, and see if that improves it.

I found I had to turn off xLOUD, because while louder it added far too much distortion.

Also check your volume level settings in Settings/Sound/Volumes

Settings/Call settings/ try turning off Speaker voice enhancement and see if that improves it.

Sound quality on TX is far better than ZL.

ZL sound quality is really muted sort of a quality. No complains ... i consider buyng ZL a bad decision but since phone usage is pretty average I am not bothered much about it.

:smileysmileythumbsup:  Agreed.

I was hoping for far better audio performance from my ZL than I experienced.

While by the numbers, in the reviews ZL tested far superior for loudspeaker performance over the Z.

Yet during my time owning it, I found the sound lacking, muffled, and inconsistent.

The fact you have to turn off so-called enhancements to get better results also brings into question... what were the Sony Mobile team thinking?  Thinking_Face

One thing's for sure, there will always be a market for a compact Sony smartphone flagship with compact dimensions.

That delivers the full 1080p experience, with much needed loudspeaker performance that their water resistant line have yet to deliver with their Below Average loudspeaker performance.  Folded_Hands
