So, to get in on the action

I've used Sony phones since the Ericsson days and I have always been happy with the quality of the devices and the way Sony delivers almost bloat-ware free phone.

So, the last update I made before the Z3+ was the first Xperia Z and I loved that phone, I've dropt it so many times and it still works and it gives you decent quality on the camera.

1. The new Z3+ is a letdown, the thing is useless! I can’t use the camera to take images of my kid, why? Because the stupid thing have already overheated before I had a chance to take the picture (6y old, always on the move).

2. Even updates from Play store overheats the phone!

3. "Sony Communications - Live Screen Streaming" Hey! I’m over 40! Don't wont it! Make an uninstaller!

I really, really, hope that Sony listen to the customers/users of their products and roll out a serious fix to this, I will return it in August if nothing has happened and switch to another brand of phones.

HD video lasts 3 minutes
Timeshare video crashes in seconds
Phone gets extremely hot when browsing

That's normal, recording on 4K will heat up your phone quite fast

I know it was full HD not 4K
Also timeshift video lasted less than a minute
Never had a phone recorded FULL HD for such a short time
I have repaired with PCC, several times

Reset your phone (Settings > Backup & Restore > Factory Defaults). After I did that with mine I had less / no overheating and a much better battery life. Many users on the xda developers forum report that this helped them too.

Yes it does reduce the heat but can't record HD video as long as any other old phone would do.
Slow motion was 40 seconds after that
But feel the phone is unacceptable

Sent my phone for repair since HD video doesnt last long as I need

You expect the phone worth £500 to record atleast a 15 minute clip but my one was not doing that...

Repaired with PCC, Reset it but no good

Now Ive sent it back to sony and waiting to see how it comes out.....

There was nothing else I liked over the z3 other than the 32GB storage and camera.......
