Sony RX100 Langauge options

I recently bought 2 Sony RX100's, im very happy with it but my Russian girlfriend isnt. There is no Russian language in the options, most of Europe is covered but no Russian. Please can someone help? FW upgrade maybe?

There is a Russian manual to download which is great but not when the camera cant be in Russian to compliment the manual.

Regards and really hope there is a way round this soon.

Hello allbritishman - Welcome to the Sony Forums

Unfortunately, the only language choices available are those that are already on the camera. It is not possible to download new firmware that adds extra choices to this list. There is a Russian manual available for download because this document applies to the version of the camera that is sold directly to the Russian speaking market as opposed to your version which it aimed at Western Europe.
