Hi.
I am planing to buy SMP-N200 Network Player and I have few questions.
Do this player support and play all common audio, video and photo formats over DLNA?
Does it have support for cental european and cylic subtitles?
If I attach USB Flash Drive or USB HDD on SMP-N200, will it be shown as a network drive? Will I be able to acess to this drive and transfer audio, video and photo files, or use it as a backup drive from my PCs?
In the near future I am planing to change my wireless router and to buy a router with build in DLNA server and USB port (most probably D-Link DIR-645) and to attach USB HDD. In this case, will I have problems with streaming?
Thank you.

Do NOT believe what is written at that link.
Video - MPEG-4 AVC (.mkv, .m4v, .m2ts, .mts): BD, DVD, CD, USB, DLNA | NO / NO / NO / YES / via update |
According to this, MKV files will not be played from a BluRay, DVD, CD, will be played from USB and also DLNA via Update.
I have an SMP N200 and have asked Sony when this "update" will be available - I have the latest update installed. However it will NOT see or let me stream the MKV Files from my Server. My WD TV Live DOES manage it easily.
As usual with Sony - NO RESPONSE.
