Hi,
I have connected my system (DAV-DZ260) using SCART in order to do a set up. I then followed the instructions in the manual so i could use the HDMI option for the better quality. However when turning the HDMI to ON the system asks to Verify HDMI connection. (Via the custom set up/HDMI after selecting DVD in stop mode and pressing the display button).
I have used 2 HDMI leads and both times got the same response (both leads work with PS3).
I have also conducted a power down/loss to do an electronic reset - same response.
I then conducted a cold reset via the face of the system - same response.
I have consulted my TV manual to ensure that i had correct settings which i can confirm i could use any off the three HDMI connectors.
All sound is fine, and i can still receive picture but only via the SCART cable.
I have had the HDMI indication in the LCD in the past which gives an indication that the system was working with HDMI but this is no longer displayed. Would I be correct in assuming that the HDMI out connection may have broken?
