Having issues with 3D content

Hi

I really hope someone can help. I have a Bdp-S3700 and a PS4, which usually plays my 3D blu-Ray edition of the Hobbit Trilogy without a fuss. 

My my friend had a 3D version of the same Sony player and since borrowing The Hobbit, I can no longer play the discs on my Sony or PS4 as it’s looking for something 3D. 

I’m assuming the discs have picked up some kind of setting from the 3D player, but no idea what.

Hi there

I have no issues with other discs. Even the special features discs for The Hobbit work fine. 

Its like the discs have pivked up some up some kind of setting from the 3D player and now won’t play in my normal player or PS4 😞

the discs are read-only, so there is no way any player could have altered them.
