Will my german-bought Sony TV work in the US when I use HDMI?

I am moving back to the US in a few weeks. I bought a Sony Bravia TV  here in Germany and want to use it in the US. Has anybody done this  before? Will the TV work if I use HDMI to connect to the cable  box/dvd/xbox/wii? I am not talking about 110/220 voltage issues as I  will get a converter to take care of this.

You would not be able to get TV from the antenna, since the standard is different in US (ATSC vs DVB-T), but via HDMI you should not have any problem.
