Can I set a macro to switch into 3d mode on 46HX803 ?

Hi all - newbie and semi tech literate to please be gentle !

I have a Bravia 46HX803 3d tv, STR3600ES Amp and 501 Blue Ray player.

Can I set a Macro either on the TV remote or Amp remote to switch the tv into my preferred 3d set up (side by side) without having to press 3d, then options, then side by side. Want to make it easy for the missus to do as she'll be laid up for a few weeks with nothing to do but watch tv !

There doesn't seem to be a macro option on the tv remote, so if not setting a macro, can I set some default 3d tv settings for the tv ?

Many thanks in advance, had a few hrs getting nowhere so far !

This is a new feature you want add to remote and firmware. (such as a programmable key in the after market universal remote)

i dream to have a TV working by voice command instead of remote control, but i am hestiate to ask Sony for that

nothing wrong with the dream, ask them!!, if you can do it with android phones then surely implimenting voice command for a tv cannot be that hard.

you would have to program macro's into the tv chip as the switch is a peripheral macro's on cnc machines are in the ic's
