Clouding or flashlightning?

Hi,

I bought 46HX723 lcd-tv. I noticed that there is some clouding at bottom corners, so called flashlightning.

It is not very big thing with normal picture but you can see those when watching movie with top&bottom black bars.

Is it normal for HX723? How about others, do you have same problems?

Hi,

your probably usinng "out of the box" settings, try calibrating the set first as everything is probably turned up too high, the simplest way is so find a dvd or blu ray in your collection that has the THX logo on the box, then use the THX optimiser to set up your set, you will find this in the menu on the disc,

some disney titles have this as does T2 and Star Wars to name a couple more.

Same thing with my set. Normal or not, many edge led lcds (and HX723 Sonys) have that problem.
