External hardfiles for photo storage

What external hardfiles are supported that will allow me to store photos and display them on my Bravia KDL-32W5810 TV set. The tech manual says they are listed on this website somewhere, but I can't find them.

not sure about about your specific TV model, but the usual standard Bravia USB viewer supports FAT12, FAT16, FAT32 and exFAT file systems.

- JPEG (JPEG format files with the extension “.jpg” and conforming to DCF 2.0 or Exif 2.21)

- RAW (ARW/ARW 2.0 format files with the extension “.arw”) (For preview only.)

- MPO (files with the extension “.mpo”)

RAW and MPO are not available in all models.

Hi,

your question is a bit vague, are you asking what external Hard drives are supported by your tv to store and display your photos from?

Vague? Looks pretty precise to me.

Thanks for the helpful reply. What I want to do is transfer all my photos (currently on CDs) to a USB-attached hardfile via my PC, then simply display them on the Bravia. I take it from your reply that a Windows-created file of JPEGs will work. It would be good to be able to organise the photos into directories. Will the Bravia handle any form of directory structure, or is it just limited to handling a single file?
